A Guide to the Integration of Solid Waste Management into the School Curriculum
This guide contains a series of interdisciplinary activities and support materials that focus on the often complicated scientific, technical, and policy issues related to solid waste management. It includes ready-to-use lesson plans, supplemental handouts and hands-on materials that teachers can use to engage their students in Solid Waste Management Education.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning Outcomes In Mathematics and Language Arts for Lower Secondary School Students in the Eastern Caribbean
This document sets out guidelines for the development of Information and Communication Technology capability for students aged 11-14 in the lower forms of secondary schools in the Eastern Caribbean. It also complements the ICT Course Manual for Teachers developed by the Unit, which is expected to guide teacher-preparedness efforts for integration of ICT in the Classroom.

This Guide provides teachers with advice on the implementation of the ICT Learning Outcomes for Mathematics and Language Arts for Lower Secondary School Students in the Eastern Caribbean. The Guide is intended to give teachers who are not comfortable with ICT some basic knowledge so that they might be better able to deal with the ICT Learning Outcomes in general, while introducing them to the various ways in which technology can be used to enhance and enrich the teaching-learning process.
