At the same time, students also require easily accessible academic support services which may not always be available via the online or distance program of study. Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is available to all registered students. KnowledgeWalk Institute tutors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can help students succeed in the areas of academic writing, Information and Communication Technology, Finance, Economics, Management, Business, Science, Statistics and Psychology. Once you enroll and access the tutoring site you will be able to browse related material and resources; take practice quizzes; and post questions related to course material. A tutor will respond to questions in a timely manner.

Your membership package provides the following service on a monthly basis:

• Live Tutoring – where you can meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment.
• Online Writing Lab – providing access to a range of online writing tools
• Online Stats Lab – providing assistance with your statistical analysis
• Online Paper Review – where you can submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive personalised feedback with a tutor’s response within 24-48 hours.
• Offline Questions – where you can leave a specific question for a tutor who will respond within 48 hours.
• Student Dashboard  - personalised access to tutoring options and archives of your tutoring sessions

On-Ground Tutoring

You may also set up an appointment with an on-ground tutor for a face-to-face session. The Tutor Program will match you with a tutor qualified to meet your individual needs. Students will have direct contact with tutors and weekly appointments are scheduled at the student's convenience.

Our Tutors

Our tutors are all academic professionals - 80% have their Masters or PhDs.

Tutors will:

• Encourage students with constructive criticism;
• Help students identify areas for improvement;
• Involve students in discussion and problem-solving strategies;
• Treat students with respect.

Tutors will not:

• Do assignments for the learner, give answers or write any portion of papers;
• Review and correct errors without active participation of the learners;
• Comment on grades or predict a possible grade.
